The dancer’s guide to strength 2.0

The Dancer’s Guide to Strength is a cross-training tool intended to help artists train like the athletes that we all know them to be. It’s an organizational template. It’s a strength and conditioning primer. And, yes, it’s a bit of a philosophical statement that informs the way we think dancers ought to be treated.

What you'll find in this Guide is almost 50 video tutorials, a sample three-month workout program, and detailed explanation for why we choose the exercises we do with the dancers we see in our studio.

We know that many of the people who purchase the Guide will simply download and follow the strength training program. But we highly encourage you to read the documentation and use the Guide as an opportunity to understand both the why and the how of modern strength and conditioning for dancers.

If you’re a dancer who’s believed that chronic pain and malnourishment must be a part of your work–

If you’re a dance teacher who seeks understanding of how to best support the artists in your care–

If you’re the parent of an adolescent dancer who wants to help lay the foundation for a lifelong of strength and bodily autonomy–

–then we think this Guide is the tool for you.
